No big news yet, but as soon as I hear anything I’ll be sure to put it up here. The latest I’ve picked up is that Beltre is being looked at by the Giants now, Rhodes is being checked out by the Marlins, and the Cubs are taking about Ibanez.

I’ve heard that the Mariners were asking for Felix PIe plus another prospect for Ibanez, and from what I know of Pie, it would be a good trade for us if he was all that we got.

Ivan Rodriguez going to the Yankees came as a big surprise to me, and unless Manny ends up taking off, it will likely end up as the year’s biggest deadline trade. I’m not counting Teixeira because he doesn’t already have his ticket punched for The Hall. I also try to think about the Angels as little as I can.
